What if I don't have a website, can I still use LocalBizNOW?
Yes, we create a company place page that contains all of the important information that consumers need to make a decision to initiate contact with your business. These place pages are designed and tested to provide the highest level of response. In most cases, these pages are more effective than full websites because they are designed with one objective, get people to contact your business.
How does LocalBizNOW drive new customers to my business?
By marketing on sites where people are searching and ready to buy from a local business. This includes all of the major search engines. We provide people with multiple ways to take action and contact your business.
What is a Direct to Site campaign?
Direct to site campaigns take advantage of our Outcome Based Bidding platform and then send traffic directly to your website.
Will my ad be on page one of the Search Results page?
Our Outcome Based Bidding platform places bids based upon your monthly budget and automatically determines the advertising position that returns the best resulting actions.
Does my ad position change throughout the day?
Yes, since bidding for keywords is competitive, the keyword pricing changes constantly and bids need to be adjusted to maintain a presence on the search results page. During this process your position on a page for a given keyword search may change. Also, your budget may exhaust itself for a particular day and you will stop appearing for the balance of that day. If this happens often, contact your Optimization Manager to discuss alternatives.

When I search for my ad on the search engine I can't find it, why?
The placement of your ad on the search engine is based on a couple of factors. First, are you searching in geography that is included in your campaign? If not, it will not be found and you might want to contact your account manager to expand your geographic reach.
Secondly, the placement of your ad is determined by competitive bid based on your monthly/daily budget. The budget is spread evenly across the day which means there may be searches that are not being bid on. If you would like to increase the frequency, talk with your account manager about your budget. S/he can provide you with more detailed information about the effectiveness of your budget.
When will I see results with my campaign?
The campaign dashboard results are updated nightly with the previous day's results.
Why am I not getting phone calls?
People are provided with a number of options for contacting your business (e.g. email, phone, maps to drive, mobile, etc) and they select the method they would like to use. Some types of business are less likely to get calls than others.

What is Regional targeting?
Regional targeting is a way to display ads on search engines to only users in specific geographic regions. Ex. if your business is in Houston, LocalBizNOW can target your ads so only people in Houston can see them. This generates more qualified traffic since the only users who will see your ad are in your location ie. you won't be spending money on users who are in a different part of the country.
What's the difference between Sponsored Links and Organic Listings?
Sponsored links are the listings on the top and right hand side of the major search engine results pages. These are paid placement ads; which means that the companies who show there ads in that space pay the search engine whenever a user clicks on their ad.
Organic listings are the links in the main body of the search engine results page. These are links that the search engines have decided are most relevant to the user's search query. The companies whose websites appear in the organic listings do not pay the search engines when users click on their link/site. Thus, organic traffic is sometimes referred to as free traffic although some companies spend a lot of money trying to set up their website in a way that they are more likely to appear in the organic listings.
Is it better to be in paid listings vs. organic listings?
It's best to be in both. That way you have more of a presence on the search engine results page. The more times your website appears, the more likely it is that a user will click on your site.
How do I get a higher position in sponsored or paid placements?
Sponsored positions are determined by the search engine based on a combination of how much an advertiser bids for the keyword(s) being searched, along with a quality score that has been assigned to your ad. The quality score is determined by how relevant it is to the search terms and how many other users have clicked on an ad. Therefore, there is value in maintaining a constant advertising presence to build your quality score.
Is it more beneficial to have a higher spot or more clicks?
This is a tricky question. It is best to have the position that delivers the most people that take the most action (i.e. contact your business). LocalBizNOW's Outcome Based Bidding platform constantly adjusts your bidding to find this advertising 'sweet spot'. Oh, by the way, this sweet spot constantly changes due to the constant changes in user search behavior.
What is pay per click?
Sponsored listings are also referred to as "pay per click" because the advertiser pays the search engine every time a user clicks on their ad.
